The “Leyhörn” was designed for operation in the coastal waters of the North Sea.
The large ramp at the stern, its fully hydraulic crane, and a working deck with more than 100 square metres of open space make this vessel extremely versatile. A modern oil-recovery system can recover 80 cubic metres of oil per hour. The twin propellers combined with a pump jet system are located in the forward section of the hull, providing for outstanding manoeuvring capabilities. Special gas and explosion protection facilities permit operation in dangerous environments.
