This new construction is deployed as a sea-going work and transport vessel in the outer areas of the river Weser and national coastal waters.
Its duties include the monitoring and examination of floating or fixed navigational marks (such as front and rear leading lights or lighthouses), supervision trips to construction works in the river, depth soundings serving the inspection of construction foundations or the conservation of evidence, supervision and monitoring trips, as well as traffic control and traffic guidance duties. The vessel is equipped with a crane, a wooden work-deck, aft steering consoles, and a gallery deck at bridge level, accessible from the wheelhouse, for direct contact with the working personnel.
