This highly functional ferry was built with the constantly increasing traffic (and corresponding growing danger of collisions) on the German river Weser in mind.
The risk of a severe accident has been reduced to a minimum. The bulkhead division of the ferry is such that two adjacent compartments – in loaded condition – can be damaged without a critical loss of buoyancy.
